Coorow, WA

Coorow is a northern wheat belt town two and a half hours’ drive northeast of Perth.

The area is famous for its abundance of wildflowers, a characteristic reflected by the local wildflower growing enterprises which cater for the cut ornamental flower market and provide native plants for commercial nurseries.

Heading towards the coast from Coorow (through Alexander Morrison National Park) adventurous tourists can explore numerous limestone caves (moderate four wheel driving and caution required).

On the coast nearby there is the idyllic fishing and mining town of Leeman and the picturesque and friendly community of Green Head. Both of these towns make an excellent base for the visitor, with good caravan parks and shopping facilities.

Glasshouse Mountains

The Glasshouse Mountains in the hinterland of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast are actually the cores of 20 million year old volcanoes. The sides of the volcanoes have eroded away leaving only the hardened rock spiremountain cores we see today. Learn more about this awe-inspiring landscape.
