Howard Springs is a rural area on the outskirts of Darwin, 30 kilometres from the centre of town. Mango farms and picturesque rustic surrounds make it a relaxing base from which to explore Darwin. Howard Springs Nature Park is a great place to enjoy natural springs and feed the huge barramundi that live there. Flower fans can visit Jenny’s Orchid Farm to see five acres of stunning tropical orchids, and keen anglers can try a spot of fishing close to town.
