Keyneton

Set in big gum country on the road to the Murray River, Keyneton is a pretty country village of just a dozen or so buildings – most of them dating from the late 1880s.

A wander through the town will take you past a number of interesting buildings, including the former Temperance Hotel and the institute, formerly the Temperance Hall. Drive to nearby Henschke winery, home to the Hill of Grace shiraz.

Where Are Australia's Best Beaches?

Australia's Best Beaches

Australia has miles and miles of shoreline but which beaches are really great? Ultimately it depends on what you're looking for in a beach. Pristine wilderness without a single footprint in sight, the sparkle of cosmopolitan high rise on the waters edge, the adrenalin pumping roar of a powerful surf beach, or quite simply the perfect white squeaky sand that squelches between your toes.
