Islander Noosa Resort, The, Noosaville

Central location, best facilities and great value, The Islander Noosa Resort is located on Gympie Terrace, the esplanade strip along the Noosa River at Noosaville and is a five minute drive from Hastings Street and the main surf beach at Noosa Heads.

The Islander Noosa Resort offers 60 two and three bedroom fully self contained villas, all with complete kitchens, laundries, television, video player and direct dial telephones. The bedding configuration in two bedroom villas is one queen bed and two single beds. Three bedroom villas have either one queen and four singles or two queens and two singles.

The Islander’s recreational facilities include a large lagoon pool and two other pools (one of which is heated), two full size tennis courts, three spas, two saunas, barbecues, a gymnasium and games room.

A stroll across Gympie Terrace puts you on the banks of the Noosa River – an aquatic sporting paradise offering sailing, fishing, boating, wind surfing, jet skiing and early morning strolls – that is of course if the resort’s tropical gardens don’t tempt you to stay and relax in the swimming pools, spas or saunas.

The Islander restaurants help you relax by taking care of the cooking – offering a wide range of cuisine including Indian, Malaysian, Bistro, Pizza/Pasta, Wok, Thai and Moondoggy’s Cafe Bar. There is also a charming array of shops around the resort – including a hairdresser, beautician, shoe shop, surf shop and resort fashion boutiques.

For children there is a fast food caf and ice creamery and within a few hundred yards of the resort there are other fast food restaurants available. There is also a video store, bottle shop, supermarket and medical centre within walking distance.
