Yarraman Caravan Park, Yarraman

Yarraman is a small friendly Queensland country town in the South Burnett region with a population of about 800 people. The surrounding countryside is made up of red river flats and rolling hills and consists of a mixture of native and commercial forestry, farming with grazing and cultivation and mountains nearby. The Hoop and Bunya Pines are prominent local species of trees growing here.

Yarraman Caravan Park is within walking distance of the township and is an excellent base to take in the local attractions of the South Burnett, including the Bunya Mountains and Palms National Parks. Guests can bushwalk from the caravan park along a network of marked forest trails through state forests and bushland, to swimming holes and many picnic areas. Yarraman and the South Burnett offer visitors a wealth of attractions including historical sites and museums, and wineries, with activities including bird watching, fishing, gold fossicking, four wheel driving and trail and mountain bike riding.

The caravan park is set amid a range of flower gardens, palms and native trees, on high ground away from the noise of the highway, and has panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. The trees are a great attraction for the varied and colourful bird life.

Rated at three and a half stars, the Yarraman Caravan Park features a swimming pool, free barbecues, playground, camp kitchen, campfire area, LPG refilling and kiosk. Drives through caravan sites are also available.

A unique feature of the park is that many powered sites and all on-site vans have their own private ensuite.

Clean and comfortable cabins and vans are available on spacious sites for overnight or longer term.
