Noble Grape, The, Cowaramup

Just short of Margaret River you come to Cowaramup, a quiet hamlet in the heart of the wine region with the distinction of being closer to most of the wineries than Margaret River itself and far enough from it’s famous neighbour to be a haven from the activity. Cowaramup is only 10 kilometres from Margaret River and 35 kilometers form Busselton and Dunsborough.

It’s here you will find a guest house named from the regions star crop “The Noble Grape”. It was built like a colonial country house, but only in recent times, so it has the warmth of old world charm, but lacks none of the mod cons of the modern hotel or motel.

Rod and Donna, the hosts of The Noble Grape, will do their best to make your stay a pleasurable one, adding a personal touch and heightening the sense that you are staying with friends. Enjoy the home away from home cosy accommodation with personal touches and a terrific continental buffet breakfast in our dining room which opens onto our colourful english cottage garden lush with roses and ever changing colours, a thoroughly uplifting feature of the guest house. A leisurely breakfast watching native birds is something to remember, as is a solitary moment on a garden bench with a good book.

Remember The Noble Grape isn’t just convenient to all the wineries, it’s also a short drive to all the other attractions of the area including art galleries, chocolate and cheese makers, furniture workshops, bushwalk trails and of course some of the finest surf beaches and coastal scenery.

The Noble Grape features six spacious rooms each with own ensuite, television, fridge, hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities, heating, ceiling fan, airconditioning, a fully equipped laundry is also avialable. One of the six rooms has two rooms which accommodates a family of five and a room with universal access. All rooms are non-smoking.

So at the end of the day have a glass of wine, some tasty cheese, relax and enjoy the garden watching the native birds flitter around you. Come and have a relaxing holiday.

Glasshouse Mountains

The Glasshouse Mountains in the hinterland of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast are actually the cores of 20 million year old volcanoes. The sides of the volcanoes have eroded away leaving only the hardened rock spiremountain cores we see today. Learn more about this awe-inspiring landscape.
