Albany Happy Days Caravan Park, Albany

This beautiful four star AAA rated Caravan Park with plenty of shade and beautiful gardens is situated on the banks of the King River. Close to the outskirts of town in a quite rural area, there is an abundance of bird life to enjoy including a family of Firetails and Blue Wrens.

A shopping centre and the town centre are close by. Middleton Beach, Emu Point, the Porongurup‘s, Stirling Ranges and The Lily Dutch Windmill, Two Peoples Bay, The Gap and the Natural Bridge are in close proximity.

Deluxe chalets with spa; large chalets with verandas and private entertainment area on the riverside over looking the river; backpacker vans; cement van sites and ensuite sites will suit most budgets and requirements.

Hire a canoe, go swimming or fish for bream, trout, mulloway or Yellow Eye mullet. All sites have their own wood barbecue with wood supplied. There is a Camper’s Kitchen with gas hot plates, refrigerator, washing up facilities, television and potbelly stove for cold nights. A large games area at the top of the Park is set up for volleyball, basketball and children’s playgrounds. Both areas have under cover gas barbecues with seating nearby. All sports equipment is supplied free and a large selection of board games, puzzles and cards are available.

Find a quiet spot along the riverbank to read that special book. Play ‘garden chess’ or a game of Petanque (Bocce) on the lawn foreshore. Say hello to the resident goats and ducks.

There is a delightful golf course nearby and “The Links Golf Club” is only 10 kilometres away. A Function Centre and Tavern are within walking distance for a family meal or special occasion.

Chalet

One and two bedroom chalets, some with queen beds, some with doubles, all linen supplied for main bedrooms including towels, larger chalets have full size stoves and refrigeration, gas heating, use of VCR and DVD. All have verandas, private barbecue areas, wood supplied free, gas barbecues available on park at no extra charge.

On-site Van

Solid annexes, sleep from four to seven people.

Spa Chalets

Separate main bedroom with linen and towels, kitchen/dining room, spas are two person corner spas, lounge. Bubble bath supplied and hand wash. Hand rail to help with alighting from spa. Small veranda with table and chairs, private barbecue with wood supplied on request. Half hour free canoeing in this unit for a two night stay.

Camp/Caravan Site

Cement and lawn sites, river views.

Park Home

Private barbecue area, veranda with table and chairs, two sets of bunks to the left, kitchen dining across centre, fully equipped kitchen, double bed behind privacy petition. Park Homes have use of communal bathroom facilities.

Ensuite Caravan Site

One with full disables access.
