Sage Cottage offers quiet comfortable accommodation in a charming 2 bedroom miner’s cottage, set in an English garden full of bulbs, lavenders and roses. Surrounded by the Castlemaine – Chewton Historical Park, it is just 10 minutes from Castlemaine, close to Maldon and Daylesford. The cottage has a cosy lounge with potbelly heater, TV-VCR, brass beds ( 1 double and 2 single ), well appointed modern kitchen and bathroom. All linen and towels are provided. Hearty breakfast provisions are waiting for you to cook at your leisure. A relaxing outlook over historic goldfields with abundent native birds and animals visiting the property. The garden has many different areas to relax in, including a Gazebo, Boule Court, Secret Garden and a Patio with a Draughts Board. The Great Dividing Track goes right past the front gate, so you can take a walk into Castlemaine just like the Diggers did in the 1870’s or even further to Daylesford.
