Alderwood Bed & Breakfast, Toowoomba

For the ultimate combination of magnificent scenery, sublime food and old fashioned hospitality, escape to the elegance of Alderwood, just minutes from the heart of Toowoomba in the rich Darling Downs region of Queensland.

The stunning award winning home features a spacious wing devoted exclusively to guests, with private living and dining room complete with television, DVD/video, stereo and refrigerator, and every amenity you would expect in an establishment of this quality, including reverse cycle air-conditioning and a separate games cottage with snooker table.

With two bedrooms featuring polished timber floors and queen size beds adorned with luxurious linens, and a bathroom stocked with white waffle robes and pampering products galore, Alderwood is ideal for couples wanting a relaxing, romantic getaway. You’ll have the entire wing to yourself, so simply choose your favourite room and bask in the privacy and exclusivity! A third bedroom featuring two single beds means that Alderwood is ideal for groups of friends or family travelling together. Either way, the entire wing is only ever booked for one couple or a group, so privacy is always assured.

Step outside on to a huge veranda and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Stretch out and enjoy a steaming cup of coffee or a drop or two of bubbles as you take in the views of the rose garden, stone birdbath (very popular with the natives!), sweeping terraced lawns and beyond to an endless green vista. Once you’ve located your favourite spot in the sun, you’ll never want to leave this magnificent veranda or the magical views and the feeling of true peace and tranquillity that it affords. A leisurely home cooked breakfast here is a must, and it’s the perfect place for enjoying one of the incredible sunsets that regularly grace the skies above Alderwood.
