Mount Isa Caravan Park, Mount Isa

When entering Mount Isa you will find the central position of Mount Isa Caravan Park easy to locate right opposite the Tafe College and Overlander Hotel on the main road from Cloncurry to Camooweal. Mount Isa itself is known as the capital of the north west and is a must stop over for the traveller. Mount Isa City is much more than just a mining town with its immense history and newly completed Outback at Isa tourist complex that includes the underground mine tour.

Mount Isa Caravan Park prides itself on professional service, warm friendly atmosphere and a good variety of accommodation. This ranges from shady grassed caravan and tent sites right through to fully self contained, air conditioned villas.

Whatever you require from your visit to The Isa, you’ll find it only a short distant from the Mount Isa Caravan Park, ensuring this with the free courtesy bus.

For the most energetic it is only a short walk, 900 metres approximately, to Outback at Isa and 1.2 kilometres to K Mart. A comfortable afternoon walk for approximately 20 minutes puts you at Ray Donaldson’s Memorial Lookout, this offers spectacular views of the mine, city and sunsets. Looking further south you will enjoy the magnificent views of The Selwyn Ranges.

Committed to excellence the friendly staff along with the pleasant environment will ensure an enjoyable stay.
