Southside Holiday Village, Rockhampton

The Southside Holiday Village is located in 12 acres of tropical landscaped gardens. The Cabins and Villas are stand alone buildings with car parking next to each unit.

The units have overhead fans, reverse cycle air conditioning and separate bedrooms available upon request. A colour television, private shower and toilet and a fully equipped kitchenette and dining area makes the units ideal for the traveller.

There are three coin operated laundries on the grounds which are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and washing powder is available from the shop.

The village has a half tennis court, and rackets and balls are available for hire for those who like tennis.

Barbecues are situated in the camping area and you cab buy meat and sausages from the village store.

The village store is open from 6.00 a.m. until 11.00 p.m. every night and is the biggest little shop in Rockhampton. ‘It still just about everything’ – fresh bread, papers, milk and even stamps’. For those who like a quick snack, the shop stocks pizzas, pies and hamburgers, and there is a microwave open in the shop to heat these goods.

There is also a lovely swimming pool with outdoor carpet along the edges. The pool is shaded from the hot sun in summer, and heated in winter.

A modern safety fenced children’s playground makes looking after the children a breeze.

The Southside Holiday Village has all the ingredients to make your holiday a relaxing experience.
