Car parking is readily available on-street and a pleasant outdoor courtyard with teak garden furniture is provided for those guests who wish to smoke. A continental breakfast is served in the kitchen from 7 to 11 am. Parkville is a boutique suburb: one of Melbourne‘s best kept secrets. A perfectly-preserved heritage area, Parkville features grand residences and beautifully restored cottages. It is bordered on the North by Princes Park and Royal Park (Melbourne Zoo and Optus Oval), and on the South by the magnificent avenue of elms on Royal Parade and the tranquil grounds of Melbourne University. Ten minutes from the City on a frequently-running tram service; within walking distance of Carlton and Fitzroy. McKenzie’s offers a variety of room sizes including triples and quad rooms with no uncomfortable fold-out beds.
