Lindsay House, Angaston

Lindsay House is located on the hillside at the old Angaston saleyards where sheep, cattle and pigs were once auctioned monthly by Elders Mort Limited. There is a gentle reminder of previous busy stockyards with a few historic sheds still remaining. Guests can enjoy unobstructed views from the verandah overlooking the Angaston township, the old railway yards and views of the valley.

Lindsay House comprises of three separate sections which can all open up to make one larger homestead catering for 10 to 12 guests, or three very special individual self contained suites.

The Sheep’n Shiraz suite is located up the stone steps. It has three bedrooms all with queen size wrought iron beds, large kitchen and entertaining room with Chesterfield couches and fireplace and the bathroom features a claw foot bath.

The Cow’n Cabernet suite is located up the wooden stairs. It has a large bedroom with a queen size wrought iron Valentine bed with a half tester, separate lounge area with couches including a foldout couch, polished timber floors with carpet rugs and fireplace.

The Pig’n Pinot suite is located on the ground level. A cosy room with fireplace, comfortable couch, carpet rugs and the Stationmaster’s queen size wrought iron bed.

The Washboard (laundry) is available to all guests, with a washing machine, clothes dryer and ironing facilities.
