Fitzroy River Lodge, Fitzroy Crossing

At the “Lodge”, you can relax and enjoy our hospitality or fill your days with exciting adventures. Nestled on the banks of the mighty Fitzroy River, the area is abundant in wildlife and is famous for the much sought after Barramundi. Enjoy fishing, boating, swimming or bird watching or simply take a stroll along the river.

The Lodge is a perfect base from which you can explore the wonders of the Kimberley region including Gieke Gorge, Tunnel Creek, and Windjana Gorge.
The Lodge is ideal for holiday makers, families, corporate travellers, and group bookings all to share amongst our six different types of accommodation.
River View Studios, Motel Rooms, Self Contained / Family Apartments, Tented Safari Lodges, Caravan Park, and grassed non powered camping grounds.

The Lodge has conference facilities to cater for up to 120 people, cocktail and lounge bars, restaurant, swimming pool, tennis court, and a small variety of kiosk / deli items.

Accommodation Options

Standard Motel

A standard motel room in every way. Room facilities include tv, free in-house movies, air con, clock radio, tea / coffee making facilities, iron – ironning board, cieling fan, ensuite, bath, IDD / STD telephone, fridge, hair dryer, serviced daily.

River View Studio

An executive semi self contained apartment located overlooking the Fitzroy River. Elegantly finished off with fine fittings. Rooms are very private and have their own balconies. The barbeque on the balcony makes for an enjoyable afternoon watching the sun set over the river. The room has the following facilities: television, free in-house movies, dvd player and library, queen size four poster bed, spa, microwave, cooking facilities, barbeque, iron, separate modem port for internet, air conditioning, heater, tea / coffee making facilities, toaster.

Self Contained / Family Apartments

These rooms can be configured for one, two or three couples or an entire family wishing to utilise the self contained facilities. These rooms have all the facilities you could want, coupled with a relaxing entertaining area overlooking natural bush on one side or our tennis court and grounds on the other.

Safari Lodges

These unique lockable, canvas walls, motel room are very much sought after in the Kimberley. In a way, it is like luxury camping in the outback. These lodges have all the facilities of a hotel room – albeit outback style. The only facility you probably wont miss will be the phone and the television.

Self Contained Room

These rooms can be configured for one or two couples wishing to utilise the self contained facilities. These rooms have all the facilities you could want, coupled with a relaxing entertaining area overlooking natural bush on one side or our tennis court and grounds on the other.
