Point of View, Apollo Bay

Point of View is the perfect location for that special occasion, as a base for visiting many attractions along the Great Ocean Road or just a few days away to pamper yourselves. Our 5 architect designed villas are perched on the hillside overlooking Apollo Bay and harbour. Breathtaking views from every location including the large therapeutic spa, double shower or king bed are unforgettable. A perfect summer’s day, misty rainbow, twinkling lights, passing ship, soaring eagle, thunderstorm, or rising moon on the water are just some of the changing vistas @ Point of View. You can relax in front of the wood fire in our robes, watch one of our DVD’s, search the 21 satellite television channels or browse through our selection of books. Enjoy one of our CD’s on the surround sound system or just laze around on the spacious sundecks. Organise an in room massage to be totally indulgent. Your villa is stocked with hand made soap, and other beauty products, wine, chocolates, specialty teas, coffee, a range of breads, spreads and milk for your arrival. Cooking is easy in the full kitchen, which includes a dishwasher, microwave, ceramic cook top, full size oven and snack maker. On a balmy night, you can throw a steak on the barbecue or treat yourself to fresh crayfish and prawns from the local harbour shop. Otherwise, drive the 2.5 kilometres into town and let one of the of the many seafood and gourmet restaurants do it all for you. When you’re ready for sightseeing, there are numerous waterfalls, rainforest walks, fishing and seal trips, glow worms, koalas spotting in the wild, wineries, Cape Otway lighthouse, Otway Fly Treetop walk and The 12 Apostles all from 5 to 75 minutes drive from your Point of View villa.

Pristine wilderness without a single footprint in sight, the sparkle of cosmopolitan high rise on the waters edge, the adrenalin pumping roar of a powerful surf beach, or quite simply the perfect white squeaky sand that squelches between your toes.
