Montes Reef Resort, Hydeaway Bay

Montes Reef Resort is a natural paradise for relaxation. Situated at Cape Gloucester by the magnificent Gloucester Island, 40 kilometres north of the Whitsundays.

Montes is secluded and somewhat isolated but accessible by all types of vehicles. It has an all tide sandy beach. Every spacious self contained bungalow is right on the waters edge. With 180 degree panoramic views of facilities include a beachfront bar and bistro, tennis court, volley ball, cricket pitch, trampoline, hammocks, boat ramp and wood barbecue areas.

Activities include snorkelling, fishing, canoeing, turtle spotting, bush walks, wild life walks and much more – it’s up to you!

Established in the 1970’s Montes has its own individual character and with only seven bungalows this feels like your own piece of paradise, making this the perfect getaway.

Cabins are mostly two bedroom, tiled floor and spacious with separate kitchen and living areas overlooking water and only five metres from waters edge and beach.
