Surrounded by the unspoilt grandeur of Hat Head National Park, the tranquil seaside village of Hat Head offers the ultimate beach side escape for nature lovers.With a seemingly endless beach, safe sparkling creek, and rocky headland, it’s paradise for photographers and fishermen alike.

Enjoy the sites and sounds while strolling through the bush, swimming in the safety of the serene beach or creek with the children. The creek is well suited to those who wish to learn how to snorkel with its safe waters and abundant aquatic life. Watch the migrating whales between June and August.

Hat Head Holiday Park offers large camping sites (some with concrete slabs) and are all ideal for those who want to bring their boat. With access to a boat ramp and a diverse range of magnificent fishing spots, all anglers are virtually guaranteed to bring home the ‘big one!’ The deep waters of the continental shelf are just eleven nautical miles offshore. After your successful fishing trips, you can gather the family together around the free BBQ in the wonderful undercover facilities, and enjoy the meal. There are nearby tennis courts, Bowling Club and local shops.

Hat Head Holiday Park has on-site cabins available. Some are equipped with an ensuite, and there is a disabled cabin, as well as disabled toilets and showers. For your comfort, cabins are all equipped with colour TV, video and microwave. (Linen, pillows and blankets are not provided).

Being only a hop, step and jump from the creek, beach or bush, it’s a nature based holiday … a breath of fresh air!
