Jerimuda Guest House, Lower Portland

Jerimuda Guesthouse lies high on the banks of the meandering Hawkesbury River
north of Windsor at Lower Portland. It is surrounded by 37 acres of bushland
allowing secluded access to the riverfront. Watch the sun rise from the wide
verandahs or relax in the pool or spa with a view, while rosellas swoop over
the river, the peace of the location disturbed only by lyrical calls of birds.
Rick and Muriel have created a haven of privacy in this spacious colonial
residence.

With indoor and outdoor spas, a solar heated pool, separate guest lounge with
log fire, the venue is ideal for a relaxing weekend for a single couple or a
family gathering. Muriel’s culinary expertise provides home baked bread,
vegetables from Rick’s garden and speciality dishes which make meals to
remember. Self-catering facilities are also available.

Jerimuda is the proud winner of The Western Sydney Industry Award 2001 in the
category of Environmental Management Systems and still boasts the ability to
provide luxury creature comforts. Jerimuda also won the prestigious award for
Excellence in Tourism for Hosted Accommodation.

The convenient location in the Hawkesbury Valley allows visitors the full
taste of an Australian country experience with historical sites to visit as
well as easy access to Sydney, Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley and The Central
Coast within a 90-minute radius.

Rick and Muriel, the hosts of Jerimuda, whilst being friendly and helpful, are
very careful to respect the frequently sought needs of absolute privacy and
seclusion.
