Wave Hill Station, Copmanhurst

Wave Hill Station is a beautiful 5000 hectare working beef cattle property.

Here you can experience the unique outback country life – a complete hideaway from the rest of the world yet only a leisurely 50 minutes drive from the Pacific Highway, Grafton and one and a half hours from the beautiful beaches of Northern NSW.

Guests can participate in general farm activities, or for the keen fisherperson or horserider, special trips to the Clarence River Gorge can be organised.

The scenery is spectacular – mountains, pockets of rainforest, grazing land and woodland. From one vantage point in the “bullock paddock” we can see into Queensland.

Upon arrival at the river, camp is set up whilst guests walk down to view the falls and experience more of the rugged country and its’ unique wildlife. You are free to explore, swim in the rock pools and rapids, or “battle with a bass” as the fishing is excellent…or simply relax in the shade of a gum tree and enjoy your meal and the surroundings.

You are sure to find this experience quite exhilarating…a time to remember.

Pristine wilderness without a single footprint in sight, the sparkle of cosmopolitan high rise on the waters edge, the adrenalin pumping roar of a powerful surf beach, or quite simply the perfect white squeaky sand that squelches between your toes. Glasshouse Mountains

The Glasshouse Mountains in the hinterland of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast are actually the cores of 20 million year old volcanoes. The sides of the volcanoes have eroded away leaving only the hardened rock spiremountain cores we see today. Learn more about this awe-inspiring landscape.
