Lorhiti Apartments, Lord Howe Island

Our new boutique one bedroom apartments offer all modern conveniences to ensure that you holiday in comfort and style. Built in a romantic, colonial style with tropical decor you have the luxury of holidaying in the casual elegance of a bygone era. Located centrally to shops, restaurants, beaches, walks and tours.

We are the closest lodge to popular Neds Beach only a two minutes stroll through beautiful Palm Groves and the largest Banyan tree on the north end of the island. We specialise in privacy, catering for a maximum of 12 guests onthe two and a half-acre property. Tropical gardens fill your view from your front verandah and bedroom balcony.

Facilities include, large modern kitchen, spacious lounge with TV/Video, backgammon and cards, separate bedroom with queen and single bed and ensuite bathroom, radio, torch, umbrellas, linen, beach towels, ceiling fans, heater, electric blankets, iron/board, backpack and hair dryer. Two gazebos with undercover gas barbecue are tucked away in the gardens. A guest laundry and public phone is available. Across the garden situated in the families original homestead is *Garden Court Restaurant.

Your hosts are Gary and Diane Owens, great, great grand daughter of Boque, one of the Islands original settlers from Abemama Island.

* Garden Court Restaurant is operated independently to Lorhiti Apartments. Lorhiti do not cater for children under 10 years.
