Peacock Grove B&B is located in a lovely tranquil rural setting on a 150 acre farm just 10 minutes from Maitland.
The restored farmhouse features two separate queen sized bedrooms each with its own private entrance, en-suite and split system reverse cycle airconditioning.
The rooms open onto a verandah that looks out onto hills that form the backdrop to undulating farmland. Your full counrty breakfast, that makes several mentions in our guest book, is served on this verandah.
Peacock Grove B&B is located on 150 acres (63ha) of which 30 acres is devoted to 2000 olive trees. The remainder of the land is devoted to cattle, crops a large lake and areas of natural vegetation. We are in the process of obtaining organic certification so no chemicals are used on the farm.
Peacock Grove B&B is located just 6 km off the New England Highway and close to the famous Hunter vineyards, Equestrian Centre, Maitland and historic Morpeth. Barrington Tops, Port Stephens and Newcastle are within easy driving distance.
We can recommend a number of local resturants that cater for all tastes and some of which have award winning cuisine.
