Old Nubba Schoolhouse, Wallendbeen

Situated one and a half hours west of Canberra, Old Nubba Schoolhouse Country
Cottages have been delightfully renovated to offer guests a relaxing country
style holiday in a working farm environment.

Fully self-contained cottages are set in their own gardens and feature
slow-combustion heating, linen and electric blankets for the cooler nights.
The main bedroom has an 1880 half tester brass bed and is delightfully
decorated. You’ll find a wood burning fire, homemade biscuits, fresh milk,
eggs, bacon and bread in the cupboard for your following days breakfast.

The cottages are perfect for either a family farm holiday or just a quiet
weekend away for two. There are plenty of farm animals for the children to
see including dogs, chooks, horses, geese and sheep.

Close by are the local wineries and orchards, fishing and of course, plain
relaxation.

Pristine wilderness without a single footprint in sight, the sparkle of cosmopolitan high rise on the waters edge, the adrenalin pumping roar of a powerful surf beach, or quite simply the perfect white squeaky sand that squelches between your toes. Glasshouse Mountains

The Glasshouse Mountains in the hinterland of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast are actually the cores of 20 million year old volcanoes. The sides of the volcanoes have eroded away leaving only the hardened rock spiremountain cores we see today. Learn more about this awe-inspiring landscape.
