Wallaby Holiday Cottage is a cosy, romantic bushland retreat set beside the Watagans National Park, a few kilometres west of Lake Macquarie.

Wallaby Holiday Cottage is your ideal destination for a relaxing break, in a tranquil bushland setting within easy reach of beautiful Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Vineyards.

We provide self catering accommodation in a beautifully appointed, fully self contained stone cottage.

Relax in the delightful bushland surrounds to the accompaniment of the bellbirds and the company of our local wallabies.

We offer an optional breakfast basket or catered breakfast.

Accommodation Options

Two bedroom stone cottage

This charming stone cottage is beautifully appointed and fully self-contained. It has two bedrooms, each with a double bed, making it ideal for one or two couples.

The living and dining areas are set up for four people. A TV, video and sound system is provided.

Gas heating and reverse cycle air conditioning are installed to ensure that the cottage is kept comfortable and inviting at all times.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge, microwave and toaster. Also supplied are crockery, cutlery, utensils, tea towels and tablecloths.

Washing and ironing facilities are provided and a gas barbecue is located in the back yard.

An outdoor deck, fully insect screened, provides the perfect place to observe the wild life and take in the wonderful forest atmosphere
