Braeside Bed and Breakfast, Woodford

Braeside is a peaceful escape in the mid mountains close to the National Park. It is only 20 minutes by car from the tourist attractions of the upper mountains and 30 minutes from the activities of the Penrith Valley to the east.

There are three guest bedrooms: one King/Twin with a private bathroom; one queen room with an ensuite; and one double room with an ensuite and an added sitting room with a day bed. This room is suitable for family groups and has direct access to the garden.

All rooms have heating and cooling., electric blankets, hairdryers, and tea/coffee making facilities. The guests’ lounge has an open fire in winter and the garden provides a quiet and relaxing setting for guests in the warmer months. A full cooked breakfast is provided and dinners are available with some notice.

Braeside serves as a relaxing home away from home.

Accommodation Options

King/Twin

Our king room on the first floor can be converted to a twin room to suit single people. It has a private bathroom which is only two steps from the bedroom door. This is not shared by any other guests. Bath robes are provided for guests’ use. The room is air conditioned in summer and heated in winter. Beds have electric blankets. Tea/coffee making facilities are available.

Queen

Our queen room has an ensuite bathroom and is located on the first floor with a view towards the city. The queen bed has an electric blanket. The room is air conditioned. Tea/coffee making facilities are available.

Double/Family room

This room has a double bed and an ensuite bathroom. Attached to the room is a small sitting room which contains a day bed and trundle bed to suit family groups. All the beds have electric blankets and the room has heating in winter and cooling in summer. Tea/coffee making facilities are available. This room is on the ground floor and has direct access to the garden.
