Set on 8 rural hectares, Country Guesthouse Schonegg is a contemporary, purpose-built guesthouse in the heart of the Canberra Cool Climate wine district. 20 wineries within a 40 minute scenic drive. The Nation’s Capital is just 30 minutes away. Just 5 kilometres to the village of Murrumbateman where you can visit the local restaurants, pub and gift shop.

The Guesthouse is disabled-friendly & smoke-free. Rooms have beautifully appointed ensuite bathrooms, one with a double spa, the other a double shower. Rooms have in-slab heating, private decks and panoramic views, where you can enjoy the tranquility of open space.

At Schonegg enjoy gourmet meals created with flair by your hosts, both talented chefs with international experience. Meals feature seasonal local produce. Homemade pastries and gateaux are a specialty. Schoneggs dinner, bed and breakfast is very popular. BYO.
