Karma Cottage, Blackheath

Looking for a change of pace, somewhere to chill out away from the bustle of the city but not have to give up your creature comforts?

Karma Cottage is your destination.

This 1920’s cottage is 5 minutes stroll from the heart of Blackheath Village. With its restaurants, cafes and curio stores it gives you the perfect base for a lazy weekend relaxing by the fire or a great jumping off point for discovering the many natural wonders this part of the Blue Mountains has to offer.

The Cottage is furnished to compliment the original features so you will instantly feel at home. The wood fire, set in the original hearth, warms the living space and provides a glowing focal point to absorb your thoughts when you kick back and relax with the lights dimmed for the evening.

Fully self contained with a well equipped kitchen, you can rely on your own culinary skills during your stay or leave the car in the driveway, grab a bottle of your favourite wine and walk to the Village, a journey just long enough to justify dessert.

The main bedroom, with its comfortable Queen sized bed, opens off the lounge-room; the second bedroom, at the rear of the cottage, catches the sunshine all day long and sleeps two with the L-shaped bunks, which the kids just love.

A reading room leads off the lounge and provides a private escape for those who want to bury themselves in a gripping novel, nestled in the wicker armchairs or reclining on the day bed.

Pristine wilderness without a single footprint in sight, the sparkle of cosmopolitan high rise on the waters edge, the adrenalin pumping roar of a powerful surf beach, or quite simply the perfect white squeaky sand that squelches between your toes.
