Three Figs, Cawongla

Three Figs is a peaceful country property in the hills of Cawongla and is approximately 9km from Kyogle on the Murwillumbah/Kyogle Road, in New South Wales, Australia.

Your accommodation at Three Figs is a private, separate, fully self-contained unit with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and lounge room. It is fully furnished to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Can sleep up to 6 people.

Steve and Wendy bought Three Figs as a run down property only a few years ago and are in the process of developing it into a sustainable property. They started with the paddocks surrounding the small farmhouse and are moving outwards as each new paddock/cell is fenced and weeds removed. Regeneration of the creek and surrounding gullies and slopes are an important part of the ongoing process for this property also. Old timber tracks throughout show a history of timber felling for Three Figs.

The old farmhouse on the property has yet to be renovated.

Although not certified organic all foods grown on the property for kitchen use are done so organically.
During this time of ongoing development for Three Figs as a sustainable property, ‘on property’ activities are limited for now. However the proximity of Three Figs to many tourist destinations in Northern New South Wales and South East Queensland make it an ideal base to venture out for trips.
