Amaroo Park, Cowes

Originally known as Douglas House, Amaroo Park has a history of providing hospitality to visitors on Phillip Island that stretches back to the early 1920’s. Today the homestead is the focal point of the 2 1/2 acre site. Housing the onsite bar and dining room, large verandas for all weather entertaining and a cosy lounge room with open fire for relaxing in the cooler months. Enjoy a home cooked dinner or hearty breakfast in the dining room, a glass of wine or a beer in the bar, play a board game with friends or just sit back and watch the whole world pass by. Outside a solar heated, landscaped pool nestles between the house and a grassy picnic area with barbecue, while established trees provide shade through the park. Amaroo Park is so much more than just accommodation, it’s your home on Phillip Island.
