Busselton River Resort, Busselton

Busselton River Resort is located 250 kilometres south of Perth on the Vasse River Busselton, the second fastest growing town in Australia.

Nestled on the banks of the tree lined Vasse River only ten minutes walk to the heart of town, two minutes drive to the beach. Two acres of lawn and rose gardens, tennis court, swimming pool and barbeque areas.

The resort features a fully licensed restaurant and function centre catering for 120 guests, catering for garden weddings, conference facilities and functions of all kinds. There are pensioner and corporate discounts available.

The rooms are fully refurbished, comfortable queen size bed, single beds in some rooms and family rooms available. They all have reverse cycle air-conditioning, television, tea/coffee making facilities, toaster, bar fridge, small table and chairs inside and outside on the porch. The rooms overlook the lush gardens and swimming pool through large sliding glass doors.

This is the gateway to the South West wine region. Some of the worlds best surfing, whale watching, fishing, crabbing and swim with the dolphins just 30 minutes from the resort. Geographe Bay just a two minute drive from the resort has the world famous Busselton Jetty which is two kilometres long. Take a train trip to the end of the jetty and visit the underwater observatory, or take a walk, go fishing or crabbing anywhere along the jetty.

The beaches along Geographe Bay are snow white with no surf or waves 90% of the time because the sea breeze comes across the land on the other side of Yallingup, 15 kilometres away, where you can surf, whale watch, see the spectacular Canal Rocks and many beautiful spots of interest. Visit the famous Jewel Caves, Tuart Forest, museums, craft shops, play mini-golf, jet-ski, sail and power boat hire.
