Amity Bungalows, North Stradbroke Island

Amity Bungalows “where rainforest meets the sea”, provides thatched roof bungalows on two acres of beautiful waterfront. With thatched bamboo interiors and colonial furnishings, they provide some of the most unique accommodation in Queensland. There is a resort pool with waterfall, cave, three beach areas and two thatched roof gazebos. The resort also offers a children’s playground and gas barbecues in a rainforest setting. The bungalows contain fully equipped kitchens, television, video and air conditioning. There is also wheelchair accommodation. With access to a private jetty, fishing, diving, snorkelling and dolphins daily, Amity Bungalows is the ideal getaway for all ages just over one hour from Brisbane.

Lorikeet Lodge

Lorikeet Lodge is a self-contained thatched roof bungalow that sleeps five people. In contains one queen bed, one single bed and one fold-out sofa. It also offers disabled facilities with wheelchair access, roll-in shower and grab rails.

Possum Lodge

Possum Lodge is a self-contained thatched roof bungalow in a rainforest setting. It has one queen bed, two single beds and one fold-out sofa. The Lodge has a large balcony, fully equipped kitchen, a gas barbecue and privacy.

Kookaburra Cabin

Kookaburra Cabin is a thatched roof self-contained bungalow with a private courtyard, a view of the children’s playground and a private barbecue in an outdoor setting. It has one queen bed, three single beds and one fold-out sofa. It is ideal for families.

Wombat Lodge

Wombat Lodge is a self-contained log cabin with an undercover gas barbecue. It is adjacent to the children’s playground. There is a separate shower and toilet and wheelchair access. It contains one queen bed, four single beds and two fold-out sofas.
