Snowy Wilderness, Jindabyne

In the tradition of The Man From Snowy River, Snowy Wilderness is a pristine high country retreat and a sanctuary for Australia’s wild Brumby. Snowy Wilderness adjoins the Kosciuszko National Park and is 7,200 rugged acres of pure enjoyment.

There are three types of accommodation at Snowy Wilderness. There are one and two bedroom cottages each with ensuite bathrooms, dining, lounge, kitchen with outdoor decks for that end of day drink and relax watching the sun go down.

There is the homestead bed and breakfast option with your host Ross Smith.

And there are our six strategically placed campsites throughout the property suitable for sleeping up to eight people per site under our unique Aussie shelters. Each campsite has benches, stools, fire pit,fresh rain water and beds with Aussie swags provided.

Homestead Bed and Breakfast

Stay in the beautiful and authentic homestead on the property. Accommodation available exclusively for one couple per evening.

Aussie Campsites

For those adventures who are looking to get back to nature, try our true bushmen’s camp sites of the high country.

Swags are provided along with all you tent and cooking materials. You bring your own sleeping bag (or we can supply you one at extra cost) and experience what it’s like to sleep under the stars after watching the sun go down over the Ranges drinking billy tea around the campfire.
