Amaroo Cottage Farmstay is a three-bedroom self-contained cottage, accommodating 6 – 8 persons.

The Farmstay is located 32kms south of Bathurst, in the Central Tablelands area of New South Wales. To travel to Amaroo Cottage Farmstay follow directions to Trunkey Creek/Abercrombie Caves. The trip takes approximately 25 minutes.

Amaroo is located off the main road and is a peaceful retreat for guests. The cottage is located 1/2km from the Homestead, ensuring guest’s privacy. The cottage commands extensive views of the surrounding district.

Amaroo is a 760 hectare (1,900 acre) fully operational farm, producing prime lambs (meat) and cattle.

Guests can join in the daily activities associated with operating a farming business or just relax on the verandah and read a book.

Howard will provide a tour of the property highlighting features of the farm and point out local landmarks. Mount Canobolas near Orange can be seen in the distance!

General farm activities occur daily, for example, mustering, lamb marking, shearing and crutching. Activities do vary seasonally, please ring to check what may be occurring during your visit.

Angela and Howard Sinclair are lifelong residents of the Bathurst District and can assist guests with local knowledge of the region.
