The Maritime Museum at Darling Harbour was worth a visit, just west of the City Center.
You can get inside a Submarine and onto a Small Destroyer ship. Worth the visit, but you will probably hit your head a few times on the submarine if you are taller than 1.80m :)

Pristine wilderness without a single footprint in sight, the sparkle of cosmopolitan high rise on the waters edge, the adrenalin pumping roar of a powerful surf beach, or quite simply the perfect white squeaky sand that squelches between your toes.
