Travel North Coaster and Coaches is wholly owned and operated by Werner and Patricia Sarny. With over 36 years experience in tourism, Travel North Coaster and Coaches has grown from a small operation hiring boats to a diverse range of operations offering a comprehensive variety of accommodation and tour services. Tours cover the Kakadu National Park, Litchfield Naitonal Park, Darwin and Katherine areas.

These include motel and backpacker accommodation, caravan and camping grounds, roadhouses, tours, package holidays and express bus agencies. Travel North Coaster and Coaches is the largest tour and accommodation operator in the Katherine region, providing quality services and facilities throughout the Top End.

See the wonders of the Top End on this three day tour departing from Darwin. You will explore Litchfield National Park, swim at the beautiful Wangi Falls and take in some breathtaking scenery. Visit the thermal pool at Mataranka and cruise on the famous Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk). Spend a day with the local Aboriginal people, sharing their culture at Manyallaluk. This tour is an exciting and memorable experience.

Crocodile Night Adventure/Wildlife Evening Dinner Cruise

Departs from the historic Springvale Homestead for an evening boat cruise with your experienced guide. Marvel at the star filled skies, unspoiled by city lights. Wonder at the glorious reflections, joining the riverbank and water as one. The darkness of the night offers much to those with keen eyes. Spotlight the freshwater crocodiles, owls, wallabies and other nocturnal animals, their bright eyes reflecting any light in the night. Your guide will light a campfire and call the crocodiles for photographs. Swap conversations with fellow travellers and then enjoy a bushman’s meal served with billy tea, wine and cordial. Board your boat to cruise back to the jetty around 2130. It is recommended you wear comfortable walking shoes as there is approximately a 600 metre walk through sand. Please bring a lightweight jacket with you, as the evenings can be cool.

Half Day Tour, Katherine to Mataranka return

Departing your Katherine accommodation early morning for a memorable visit and enjoyable morning tea at Mataranka’s Territory Manor where you can see the barramundi feeding at the billabong. Visit Mataranka Homestead with the magical thermal pool, which is at a constant 34 degrees Celsius, and the Elsey Homestead Replica. Enjoy your lunch in the tropical garden bistro before arriving back in Katherine mid afternoon.

Top End Highlights, Darwin return

Experience the highlights of the Top End on this exciting four day tour departing from Darwin. You will explore Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine Gorge) via a water cruise on the Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk), and visit the Mataranka Thermal pool. Spending two days in Kakadu National Park where you will see cascading waterfalls, Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie Rock and Ubirr, and enjoy the scenery from a Yellow Water Cruise before heading back to Darwin.
