Spirit of the Coorong Adventure Cruise – BPL02

The experience of a lifetime as you cruise deep into the pristine waters of the Coorong National Park. Alight at Godfrey’s Landing for a guided walk across the Younghusband Peninsula to the Great Southern Ocean. Learn about the geological features and unique flora and fauna in this wilderness area. Relax and let the waterways slip by.

. Operates:
. October to May, Wednesday and Sundays from Goolwa 1000 to 1600. June to September, Sundays from Main Wharf, Goolwa 1000 to 1600.

Murray River Run Downstream 4 Day Cruise Mildura to Renmark – BPL09

Cruise the River Murray downstream for four days onboard the Spirit of the Murray and be transferred by coach each night to your hotel accommodation.

. Day One – Arrive Mildura, enjoy a barbecue lunch before boarding the Spirit of the Murray. Cruise downstream through Lock 11, under the Abbotsford Bridge and onto Wentworth for dinner and bed and breakfast accommodation.

. Day Two – Depart Wentworth, cruise 38 kilometres along the Darling River before stopping at Tapio Cutting for lunch. Return down the Darling River. Pass through Lock 10, enjoy the scenery at Bates, Shallow and Jacksons Reach before stopping at Ana Branch Station for coach transfer to Wentworth and an Aboriginal cultural tour. Dinner , bed and breakfast accommodation in Wentworth.

. Day Three – Depart Ana Branch Station, view Frenchmans Creek the entrance to Lake Victoria. Pass the old steam Kulnine pump and pass through Lock Nine before stopping at Lock Eight for lunch. Enjoy spectacular scenery pass through Lock Seven, stopping at Rufus River. Enjoy a coach tour of Lake Victoria, the site of the infamous Rufus River massacre, before returning to Wentworth for dinner and bed and breakfast accommodation.

. Day Four – Return by coach to the Rufus River, cruise past Murray Sunset National Park, Pollards Cutting, Scotties Wood Pile and view the ruins of Cal Lal Police Station. View the Victorian/South Australian border. Pass through Lock Six before stopping for lunch at Chowilla Station. Cruise onto Wooknal Bend for a walk at the site of a Second World War internment camp. Enjoy the scenery as you complete your journey, arriving at the Renmark Wharf.

Spirit of the Coorong Discovery Cruise – BPL01

Special cruise exploring the Coorong National Park. Guided walk across the boardwalk to the Great Southern Ocean. Learn about the abundant flora and fauna found in the area. Experience this unique location and learn about the fascinating history of this wilderness area.

. Monday and Thursday all year, and Tuesday and Saturday between 1 October 2006 to 31 May 2007, from Goolwa 1200 to 1630.

Murray River Run Upstream 4 Day Cruise Renmark to Meldura – BPL08

Cruise the River Murray upstream for four days onboard the Spirit of the Murray and be transferred by coach each night to your hotel accommodation.

. Day One – Depart Renmark at 0900 travelling upstream to Wooknal Bend for a walk at the site of a Second World War internment camp. Cruise onto Chowilla Station for lunch. Passing through Lock Six, view the Victorian/South Australian border, the ruins of Cal Lal Police Station, travel past Scotties Wood Pile, Pollards Cutting, Murray Sunset National Park before stopping at Rufus River for coach transfer to Wentworth for dinner and bed and breakfast accommodation.

. Day Two – Return by coach for a tour of Lake Victoria the site of the infamous Rufus River massacre. Reboard the boat and cruise through Lock Seven. Enjoy spectacular scenery before stopping for lunch at Lock Eight. After lunch pass through Lock Nine view the old steam Kulnine Pump and Frenchmans Creek the entrance to Lake Victoria. Murray River Run Downstream 5 Day Cruise Wellington to Mannum – BPL07

Cruise the River Murray downstream for five days onboard the Spirit of the Murray and be transferred by coach each night to your hotel accommodation.

. Day One – Depart Wellington by coach to Border Cliffs. Arrive at Customs House at the South Australian/Victorian border for a barbecue lunch. Cruise downstream through Lock Six, stopping at Chowilla Station for a tour, then cruise past Red Gum forests before stopping for dinner and bed and breakfast accommodation at the Renmark Hotel.

. Day Two – Depart Renmark cruising past Paringa through Lock Five. Stopping for lunch at Berri. We then cruise through Lock Four, Kamakazi Flats and onto Loxton for dinner and bed and breakfast accommodation at the Loxton Hotel.

. Day Three – Depart Loxton cruising past Moorook, Cobdogla, Kingston on the Murray, then through Lock Three. Stopping for lunch at historic Overland Corner Hotel. Coach transfer to Banrock Station for afternoon tea and tour. Return by coach to the boat, enjoy spectacular scenery, past red Gum forests before stopping at Waikerie for dinner and bed and breakfast accommodation.

. Day Four – Depart Waikerie cruise through Lock Two past Cadell onto the historic river port of Morgan for lunch. We then cruise to Blanchetown passing through Lock One and the towns of Swan Reach, Walkers Flat and Bowhill stopping at Nildottie for coach transfer to Mannum Motel for dinner and bed and breakfast accommodation.

. Day Five – Return by coach, enjoy an Aboriginal cultural tour at Devon Downs, cruise onto Mannum, birthplace of paddlesteamer history for lunch. Cruise past Murray Bridge, Tailem Bend and through to Wellington where the cruise ends.
