Adelaide Long Lunch Day Tour – TOUR NO 01

Enjoy a progressive long lunch dining experience with a tour of Adelaide Oval. Travel from the gardens of Adelaide to seaside Glenelg aboard an historic tram, bus or hire car. Meet at the South Gates, Adelaide Oval, Memorial Drive mid morning for an exciting tour of Adelaide Oval, its Museum, Dressing Rooms and historic Scoreboard. The world’s most beautiful Test Cricket ground has been the cricket home of Sir Donald Bradman since 1934. It was also the headquarters of South Australian football for nearly 100 years. Take a short bus ride across the city, looking at some of the City of Adelaide’s most notable landmarks, past the Himeji (Japanese) Gardens, then to Pavilion on the Park in Veale Gardens. Here enjoy the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of the Pavilion on the Park while being served your first two courses. After lunch travel by historic tram, bus or hire car to Adelaide’s leading tourist location – Glenelg by the sea, for dessert in the comfortable and opulent surroundings of the Stamford Grand. Return to Adelaide at approximately 1630.

Magic Triangle Progressive Day Tour – TOUR NO 12

Enjoy this Magic Triangle Progressive Day tour visiting West Lakes, Glenelg and Port Adelaide. See the best of each area including the historic icons of Port Adelaide and Glenelg, with a cruise in a fully enclosed boat or Catamaran of West Lakes. Travel in one of our hire cars, buses or limousine coaches. Tailor made for you.

Great Southern Fleurieu 2 Day Tour – TOUR NO 08

A two day and one night tour visiting the wineries of the McLaren Vale wine region, staying overnight at Sunset Cove and visiting Victor Harbor or Port Elliot. Tour can also be extended to include a visit to Kangaroo Island on a three day and two night tour.

McLaren Vale Sea and Vines Festival – TOUR NO 15

Enjoy a weekend of fine wine, seafood and music at the McLaren Vale Sea and Vines Festival in June 2005. Travel on either Sunday or Monday with an Adelaide Tailor Made Tours double-decker bus package.

Top of the Range Special Occasion 2 Days – TOUR NO 07

Enjoy the best of South Australian wines and food on a progressive dining tour including limousine or Harley Davidson motorcycle transfer and overnight accommodation.

Flinders Ranges 4 Day Tour – TOUR NO 11

Four day outback tour staying to the Flinders Ranges staying at Rawnsley Park Station or Wilpena Pound. Visit local towns in the Barossa Valley and Clare Valley along the way.

. Day One – Visit the Barossa Valley, Whispering Wall, Clare Valley and Port Pirie.

. Day Two – Visit Port Augusta, Hawker and Rawnsley Park Station.

. Day Three – Visit Wilpena Pound and take some trail walks. See wildlife and the heart of the Flinders Ranges, having a good old fashioned Aussie lunch and dinner.

. Day Four – Backtrack through the Flinders Ranges to various towns depending on weather conditions on the way back to Adelaide.

. Operates:
. Departs Adelaide on Tuesdays and Fridays at 0900. Other departure times by arrangement with at least 14 days notice.

Sports Match Day Tour – TOUR NO 04

Travel to AAMI Stadium, West Lakes to watch the Adelaide Crows or Port Power football match, or travel to the Clipsal Powerhouse to watch the Pura Milk 36er’s basketball team in action.

. Two options available:
. During April to September travel to AAMI Stadium, West Lakes and either watch the football game live on television in the Adelaide Crows Social Club with a main course meal or purchase a ticket to watch the game live, if available. Depart AAMI Stadium approximately one hour after conclusion of game for return to Adelaide.

. During the basketball season (October to March) travel to the Clipsal Powerhouse to watch the Pura Milk 36’ers basketball team in action. Return to Adelaide.

. Operates:
. From the Arkaba Hotel (meet at Sporty’s Bar), Glen Osmond Road, Fullarton during football and basketball seasons, dates and times on application.

Family Sports Day Tour – TOUR NO 05

Travel to AAMI Stadium, West Lakes for a guided tour of AAMI Stadium. Enjoy a choice of main course or a platter for two in the Adelaide Crows Football Club’s Social Club dining room (dessert optional). Travel to Port Adelaide and board the MV Port Princess for river cruise. Watch the day’s football match on the big screen television in the club rooms or during the boat cruise (during football season). Travel to the Stamford Grand Hotel at Glenelg.

Sports Day Tour – TOUR NO 06

For all sports enthusiasts, highlights include tour of Clipsal Powerhouse home of the Adelaide 36’ers Basketball team and AAMI Stadium home of the Adelaide Crows Football Club. Travel by bus to the Clipsal Powerhouse, Findon the home of the Pura Milk Adelaide 36’ers Basketball team, enjoy a personally guided tour of the Clipsal Powerhouse, see where all the action happens, then on to AAMI Stadium, home of the Adelaide Crows Football Club. Walk onto the ground, see the change rooms and the corporate boxes, get the feel of the excitement of the match then enjoy a fabulous main course meal in the Adelaide Crows Social Club dining room. After dinner travel to the Stamford Grand, Glenelg for dessert and coffee. Then return to Adelaide.

Oakbank Horse Racing Carnival Day Tour – TOUR NO 10

Do you want to enjoy all the thrills and excitement of the Oakbank Easter Horse Racing Carnival, then join Adelaide Tailor Made Tour’s day tour to one of the biggest picnic race carnivals in the world at Oakbank in the picturesque Adelaide Hills.

. Operates:
. Bus departs from the Adelaide Arkaba Hotel, Sporty’s Bar on Saturday 15 April 2006 and Monday 17 April 2006 at 0845, returning at 1900 approximately, or travel to and from Oakbank in your own vehicle and join the tour at the racecourse.

Dinner or Lunch Tour – TOUR NO 03

Enjoy a progressive dining experience, travelling from the gardens of Adelaide to seaside Glenelg aboard the Grand Lady Restaurant Tram or a historic tram, limousine, bus or hire car. Meet at the Hilton Adelaide, Victoria Square, Adelaide in Charlie’s Bar at 1800 (times for lunch on application). Travel by the Grand Lady Restaurant Tram or a historic tram to Pavilion on the Park in the beautiful Veale Gardens (or alternatively enjoy dinner at a top restaurant in Glenelg). Enjoy your first two courses at Pavilion on the Park before continuing your journey by tram to the Stamford Grand at Glenelg by the sea for dessert and coffee. After dessert enjoy leisure time in the Horizons Bar of the Stamford Grand or spend time sightseeing historic Glenelg followed by return journey back to the Hilton Adelaide.

Jacobs Creek Tour Down Under Day Tour – TOUR NO 16

Enjoy a tailor made tour following the circuit of the Jacobs Creek Tour Down Under. Travel to different areas of Adelaide and South Australia where you can enjoy a stage of the Jacobs Creek Tour Down Under. Travel in either a mini bus, limousine, Harley Davidson motorbike or a 45 seat limousine coach.

. Departs from Adelaide Hilton daily between 17 – 22 January 2006 approximately two hours before start time of each stage of the Jacobs Creek Tour Down Under.

Glenelg Adventure Trail – TOUR NO 14

Take a walk around the bay side precinct of Glenelg. On this tour you will be given discount vouchers for entry into the famous Rodney Fox Shark Experience, as well as many other discounts vouchers which you can use as you tour around Glenelg. Discover Glenelg by starting at the Rodney Fox Shark Experience situated in the old town hall opposite the tram stop. Pay AUD5.00 per family to receive your personal map, questions and vouchers. While following the trail, visit may local businesses, answer all the questions and if you get eight out of eight you receive a lucky dip from the Rodney Fox Shark Experience.

Themed Progressive Dining Day Tour – TOUR NO 17

Adelaide Tailor Made Tours can arrange a themed progressive dining tour to suit you with a choice of cuisines, either Thai, Malaysian, Japanese, Chinese, seafood, Greek, Italian, Asian or Australian. Travel in a limousine, hire car or 45 seat limousine coach depending on tour numbers.

Irish Lunch or Dinner Tour – TOUR NO 02
