Just three hours north of Adelaide lies the Southern Flinders Ranges and Wilmington and your invitation to drive yourself and your four wheel drive vehicle to some spectacular spots on our property, Yapoona Springs, situated 10 kilometres north of Wilmington. Drive the Mimbadoggie ring route of approximately 23 kilometres, incorporating steep climbs up hills and descents into historical creek beds, culminating with spectacular views from the Mount Horrocks Summit.

Mount Horrocks Self Drive Tour – YDY01

Gently climb from the homestead to the summit of Mount Horrocks overlooking the Northern Spencer Gulf with magnificent views of Port Augusta, Whyalla, Point Bonython and Port Pirie to the west, or about turn and look to the east taking in the great views of the Willochra Plain or Wilpena Pound to the north. Return with time for great photo opportunities all the way.
