Watugo Outback Tours

Departing from Brisbane, Watugo offers a variety of specialised holidays that highlight the magnificent landscapes, fascinating characters, innovative attractions and exciting events that make the outback such a unique destination.

Watugo Outback Tours is a Brisbane based family business which caters for tours of up to 20 passengers and offers that special personal touch. Their buses are 21 seater deluxe Toyota Coasters, are seat belted, air conditioned, curtained and the compact disc player provides a selection of music from relaxing background to the rock and roll of your choice. They pace their days with plenty of stops so that you can enjoy your surroundings, grab a bite to eat or just a comfort stop as required.

The tours operate all year round, departing from Brisbane, and are usually five to ten day duration, depending on whether the trip is taken in a specific outback event. For example, an outback race carnival or festival, or to have a more extensive outback experience which could include visits to such places as Charleville, Longreach, Winton, the Central Queensland gemfields and Carnarvon Gorge National Park.

Accommodation, breakfast and evening meals and all entry fees are included in the cost of most tours. In designing these tours they are conscious of the fact that they need to allow sufficient time to appreciate the outback experience and maintain the flexibility of having the time to enjoy the unexpected and unique.
