Carrying only 30 people and dedicating its entire Outer Reef day to snorkellers Wavelength is in the rare position of being able to provide you a customised experience that meets your needs whether you are a beginner or an experienced snorkeller. Many of Wavelengths sites are privately registered and are certified by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority as low-impact sites. This means these sites are not heavily visited therefore preserving their pristine quality. A day on Wavelength is like a day out with your friends as their professional yet relaxed and friendly crew share their playground with you. One of the original Port Douglas Reef tours, Wavelength is still owned and managed by eco-tourism pioneer Steve Simpson and has achieved icon status amongst discerning travelers from around the globe.

Full Day Outer Reef – Snorkel

Wavelength’s courtesy coach is availabe for pick up from your accommodation to the Wavelength jetty where a complimentary tea or coffee awaits. A leisurely 90 minute journey takes its passengers to the crystal clear waters of the Outer Barrier Reef. The next four hours are spent exploring three unique sites. During the day refreshments are available and a delicious gourmet lunch and a tasty afternoon cheese and fruit platter is served. Other daily features include the optional guided snorkel tour and reef ecology presentation. The relaxing 90 minute return cruise tops off a great day on the Reef.
