Coral Princess Cruises operate two modern, expedition style cruise ships on three, four and seven night Great Barrier Reef and island cruises between Townsville and Lizard Island. Each vessel has accommodation for up to 50 passengers in twin or double cabins, staterooms, upper deck staterooms and deluxe staterooms.

Guest facilities include two comfortable lounges, cocktail bar, restaurant and large sun deck with spa. Activities available include guided coral viewing, snorkelling, scuba diving and exploration of tropical rainforest islands accompanied by trained and specialist staff.

The cruises offer unique, intimate and educational soft adventure, expedition-style experiences, with the itinerary including visits to the Great Barrier Reef, island resorts and uninhabited islands including exclusive Pelorus Island. A full dive shop operates on board, with Resort Dive programs conducted by a qualified PADI and NAUI Dive Instructor.

The vessels of Coral Princess Cruises are also available for groups, meetings, incentives, and are ideal for special interest and exclusive charter.

Cairns to Cairns – Three Night Tour (Including One Way Flight)

A Coral Princess Cruise is a Great Barrier Reef and Island experience you will never forget. Enjoy three nights of discovery and adventure exploring Australia’s renowned tropical paradise and World Heritage Marine and National Parks.

There is as much to do as you want, or as little to do as you like – snorkelling, guided coral viewing excursions in our glass bottom boats, scuba diving, guided rainforest walks and presentations by their marine biologists – or simply take the time to relax on the sundeck or in the spa.

Townsville-Cairns-Lizard Island-Cairns Seven Night Tour

Day One: Board at Breakwater Terminal in Townsville for a 1.00 p.m. departure. Cruise the Palm Group of islands.

Day Two: Visit Pelorus Island, the Hinchinbrook Channel, the Family Group of islands, and Dunk Island.

Day Three: Explore Nathan Reef.

Day Four: Arrive into Cairns at 1.30 p.m. Return to your vessel at 4.00 p.m. for a 5.00 p.m. departure.

Day Five: Visit the islands of the Great Barrier Reef then cruise into Cooktown.

Day Six: Arrive at Lizard Island.

Day Seven: Explore Ribbon Reef Number Three and Rachel Carson Reef.

Day Eight: Arrive in Cairns at 8.00 a.m.

Cairns-Lizard Island-Cairns Four Night Cruise

Day One: Board at four o’clock in the evening for a 5.00 p.m. departure from Cairns. Time to settle in and discover your "home" for the next four nights and enjoy a glass of champagne on the top deck.

Day Two: Visit the islands of the Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy a swim or a glass bottom boat trip. Later in the morning you cruise into historical Cooktown.

Day Three: Arrive at Lizard Island

Day Four: Spend the day exploring Ribbon Reef Number Three and Rachel Carson Reef.

Day Five: Arrive at Cairns Trinity Wharf at eight in the morning.

Townsville to Cairns – Three Night Tour

Day One: 10.30 a.m. Board your Coral Princess vessel for an 11.00 a.m. departure. Cruise the outer Great Barrier Reef visiting Thetford Reef and Sudbury Cay.

Day Two: Visit Nathan Reef and Dunk Island.

Day Three: Cruise the Family Group of islands, Hinchinbrook Channel and visit the exclusive Pelorus Island. Cruise the Palm Group of islands.

Day Four: Arrive in Townsville at 10.00 a.m.

Please note that there is also a reverse itinerary of a Townsville to Cairns Three Night Tour. It boards in Townsville at 1.00 p.m. on a Tuesday and arrives in Cairns at 1.30 p.m. on Friday.
