Kimberley Wilderness Adventures

Kimberley Wilderness Adventures (KWA) has been operating 4-wheel drive safari tours for the discerning traveller throughout the Kimberley for more than 14 years and are recognised as the touring experts in the region. Touring in small groups of up to only 20 travellers, KWA understands that touring is about more than just visiting an area, it is also about gaining an intimate understanding of the land and its people.

KWA has established Australia’s most extensive network of permanent, fully-hosted wilderness camps along the Gibb River Road, on the Mitchell Plateau and in Purnululu National Park – home of the Bungle Bungle Range. These exclusive wilderness camps, strategically positioned on Aboriginal land, have been developed to provide guests with unparalleled access to spectacular parts of the Kimberley in a way that respects the cultural and environmental values of the region. As part of a long-standing relationship, the Aboriginal traditional owners welcome you to their special land.

This is your chance to discover a truly isolated part of Australia without “doing it tough”. From Magnificent Cable Beach in Broome, across the rugged Gibb River Road and into the wilds of the Mitchell Plateau and the World Heritage-listed Bungle Bungle, our small group tours ensure a relaxed, fun and adventurous experience. Our comfortable all-terrain vehicles allow you to discover remote lands accessed only via 4-wheel drive. Even though you’ll be heading off the usual tourist track, we’ll make sure you do it in the best comfort possible, with our exclusive fully-hosted wilderness camps and station accommodation.

In addition to our safari tours, which range in duration from 4 to 16 days, Kimberley Wilderness Adventures offers a wide selection of Bungle Bungle and Mitchell Falls Day Tours and Short Breaks for the independent traveller. And self-drive travellers are able to book to stay at our exlcusive wilderness camps throughout the Kimberley.
