The main track takes between six and eight days to complete. Additional walking tracks link the Great Walk to the Island’s main barge landings, accommodation and supply centres.

Campsites are located along the Great Walk and all offer access to toilets and drinking water. It is essential to book these camps and obtain a camping permit before you begin.
