Go Ride a Wave/Go Paddling

Surfing Have you ever wanted to take the plunge into the ocean on a summer’s day and try Surfing? Most people’s response is that it looks way too hard, but Go Ride a Wave makes it easy and accessible to everyone. Lessons are run mostly at waist deep water, using specially designed soft foam boards and over 80% of participants get to stand up (even if only for a short time) in their first lesson. Go Ride a Wave has been teaching Surfing for 15 years and their expert, qualified instructors not only teach you the basics, they make it an experience hard to forget. Full-length wetsuits, boards and instruction for 2 hours are all provided to help you look cool! Classes are run in Anglesea, Torquay, Ocean Grove and Lorne. SEA KAYAKING Sea kayaking is an activity, which, to many may seem quite challenging, but in appropriate conditions with experienced staff, it is often referred to as “Bush walking on Water” and is accessible to everyone. Sea kayaking is a relaxing way to see some of the best and most famous coast in the World. Go Paddling offers half and full day trips along Victoria’s Great Ocean Road between Lorne, Anglesea and Torquay. As well as guiding trips, Go Paddling runs instructional programs covering safety, paddling technique, rescues, basic surf skills, capsize options and what to do to prepare for a basic trip. For something fun and exciting try sit on top kayaking amongst the waves. Bounce over the waves on the way out and surf them in on either single or double sit on top kayaks. No prior experience is needed for any Go Paddling course or trip, and the best quality kayaks, equipment and instructors are used.
