Aboriginal Blue Mountains Walkabout Tour

Blue Mountains Walkabout is an amazing Aboriginal tour. A Blue Mountains tour easily accessed as a Sydney day tour. This unique eco trek of Aboriginal culture is a highlight of Australia.

Quai da ngalaringi nangarmi- Welcome to our dreamtime!

Awaiting you is an amazing ancient quest we now call walkabout. Discover a cultural rite of passage that required bravery for the most precious gifts of all, knowledge and respect. Trekking through a lost world of stunning Aboriginal landscape you will gain a very special understanding of our local Darug culture. A challenging wilderness experience where you will find out exactly what it was like to be a traditional Aboriginal. We follow the traditional method of learning by visiting actual sites. Following an ancient songline we venture off-track to understand these hidden places of wonder that cannot be reached by any other way.
The “Walkabout” will stimulate your senses, enrich your spirit and give you a timeless connection to our sacred land. It is independently owned, operated and guided by Aboriginal Evan Yanna Muru who is Blue Mountains born and bred. He has spent his life rediscovering the local rock art and proceeds from this “walkabout” are committed to site preservation. Evan shares with you a unique, non-commercial but refreshingly personal small group adventure that is rated by many as their Australian highlight!
