At Blue Sky Helicopters, our mission is to bring the beauty of Sydney and it’s magnificent surrounds to you in safety and comfort. Helicopter flights over the World’s most beautiful harbour and beyond…..Experience the thrill and excitment of a helicopter flight from the spectacular 30-minute City to Surf to day trips visiting the Hunter Valley or Blue Mountains.

Because quality and choice is so important to us, we offer you two options… ‘Private Charter’ or ‘Share with Others’. With Private Charter, passengers secure their own helicopter (minimum 2 passengers required). Share with Others means just that… sharing the helicopter with other passengers (maximum of 4 passengers per helicopter). Both options allow us to give you personalised service and an exceptional ‘Blue Sky’ experience.

To further increase your comfort and enjoyment, our helicopters are equipped with Sennheiser stereo headsets allowing you to talk to your pilot as well as listen to the in-flight music. *We can also guarantee passengers window seats, an absolute must when flying over the World’s greatest City!

Blue Sky pilots are very knowledgeable on Sydney and will give you a personalised narration highlighting the City’s history and sites. We’ve also pioneered the concept of live (real-time edit) in-flight video! We are the only helicopter company in Australia that can offer our passengers the ultimate souvenir of their flight, complete with the narration of the pilot and a magnificent musical soundtrack.

Our custom-built, state-of-the-art digital video cameras are strategically mounted on (and in) the helicopter to capture every breathtaking moment of your flight from you boarding the helicopter to your arrival back at the heliport.

All this… plus communication between pilot and air traffic controller recorded for you to remember your ‘Blue Sky’ experience forever!

Beyond the Blue

Beyond the Blue ( 30 minutes)
Departing Sydney Airport, we track to the north west. After flying over Olympic Park, your flight continues via the twists & turns of the Parramatta River towards the harbour. Passing the city’s beautiful bays and secluded waterways, we fly over the Harbour Bridge and Opera House before heading for Watsons Bay, from here we fly the coastline south passing Sydney’s World famous Bondi Beach.

Aerial Photographic Heli-Tour (60 minutes)
Aerial photography captures the wonder and beauty of our World from the dramatic perspective of the skies.

Prior to your flight, you will be given a full brief and then flown in the same way we fly our professional photographers.

City to Surf 2

City to Surf 2 (45 minutes)
Our most popular flight… From the spectacular cliffs and golden beaches (including Bondi) to the icons of our world famous harbour, hold your breath and enjoy magnificent panoramic views of Sydney.

Your flight takes you over Manly and the Northern Beaches, the waterways of Middle Harbour, the Opera House and the city before sweeping over the southern pylon of the Harbour Bridge and returning via Darling Harbour. (Note: The 45-min flight also takes in the beautiful area of Pittwater & spends more time in the City).

South Coast Heli

South Coast Heli-Tour
Departing Sydney Airport, we fly south over Cronulla, the last of the city’s southern beaches. Passing The Royal National Park, the south coast region comes into view with a beautiful strip of seaside towns nestling under the forested coastal escarpment. Climbing the escarpment, we land at Panorama House for lunch overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Sunset Flight

All the grandeur of our City to Surf flight – Timed to give you a view of Sydney bathed in the glow of the setting sun. A panoramic light show appears before you as the city and harbour turn on the night lights in the last moments before the sun sets.

Flying via Sydney’s magical harbour & Northern Beaches, we fly the coastline north passing the Hawkesbury River and spectacular Watagan Ranges. On arrival in the picturesque Hunter Valley, we land at Pokolbin, the centre of Australia’s premier vineyards.

Includes lunch at Roberts (built in 1876), the award winning five star restaurant and wine tasting at Pepper Tree Wines. A meal at Roberts is more than just memorable, it’s a unique dining experience!

Harbour Discovery

Harbour Discovery (15 minutes)
Although our shortest tour, the Harbour Discovery flight offers panoramic views of the most beautiful City in the World. This tour gives you a birdseye view of our brilliant harbour and a perspective of the City unimaginable from the ground.
