Hilldrop Holidays – Clarence Coast Tour

Hilldrop Holidays will pick you up from your Grafton Motel at 9.00am and you will enjoy a interesting day exploring the Clarence Coast. Leaving Grafton we will travel the highway thru Ulmarra to Yamba at the mouth of the mighty Clarence River. Along the way the driver will point out places of interest and relate some of the early history of life in the Lower Clarence. After a short break at Yamba we board the Clarence River Ferry for a short trip across the river to Iluka. After lunch we motor west to Woombah for inspection and tasting of our locally grown coffee. Departing Woombah our return to Grafton is via maclean and Woodford Island creating a wonderful round trip for the day. We return to your Grafton Motel at approx. 5.00pm.

Hilldrop Holidays – Coffs Harbour Day Trip

The Hilldrop Holiday Bus will pick you up from your Grafton Motel at approx. 9.00am for a lovely day trip to Coffs Harbour. Travelling South on the Pacific Highway we soon arrive at Woolgoolga where after some sightseeing we enjoy morning tea by the beach. Resuming our journey south we soon arrive at Coffs. Our first stop is the Clog Barn for a demonstration of clog making and explore the miniture village. We then take in Coffs Jetty, CBD (lunch), The Big Banana, Wildflower Jewellery, Sealy Lookout and more. Our return to Grafton is via the Wedding Bell Forest Drive and the Orara Valley Way back to Grafton to your motel at 5.00pm.

Hilldrop Holidays – Grafton City Tour

Hilldrop Holidays Bus will pick you up from your Grafton Motel at approx. 9.00am for an interesting day exploring the historic city of Grafton and its immediate environs. Our day begins on the south side exploring historic South Grafton shopping centre, visiting Grafton Tourism Centre, cattle sale yards and industrial sights of South Grafton. We break for morning tea in beautiful See Park. Resuming our tour we will explore the inner city sights of Grafton including the infamous Grafton Gaol, Shaeffer House, Christ Church Cathedral and cross Grafton’s Bemdy Bridge. After our lunch break in Grafton CBD we resume our tour of Graftons famous lined streets and federation style homes and buildings as we explore the length and breadth of Grafton. Our final stop for the day is Casurina Parrot Gardens where you will view rare and exotic birds from Australia, South America and Asia. Your host at Casuarina will provide an interesting commentary. We return to your Grafton motel at approx. 5.00pm.
