Join me on a fly fishing adventure, go for a day or longer. Visit some of those wild places and see our unique scenery and wildlife.
Visit these popular fly fishing areas, The Blue Mountains, Central Tablelands, Snowy Mountains / Monaro and New England. Fish for Brown and Rainbow Trout plus in some areas Native fish such as Bass and Cod.
Fishing in both streams, dams and lakes.
I offer a range of accommodation from simple cabins through to historical homesteads. Helicopter trips can also be arranged, fishing remote areas and visiting private waters on cattle and sheep stations.
I can also supply equipment. Let me organize a trip for you, my years of fly fishing experience ensure that you will have a wonderful time.

You can learn to Fly Fish right here in Sydney, with my unique Full Day or Two Day Introduction to Fly Fishing Course’s.
I supply all equipment in all courses, so you can discover fly fishing without having to outlay for equipment. I offer a range of equipment for you to try. Whatever type of fly fishing you want to do trout, natives or saltwater these courses are the perfect introduction. If you just want to learn to cast a fly rod, I run group half day workshops or private lessons if you prefer. Women’s courses are also available.
Learn the basics right here in Sydney’s only fly fishing school. I also run residential courses over several days either stream or lake craft courses at various location in the Blue Mountains, Central Tablelands areas.

Fishing Adventure Trips

Half Day Casting Course

The theory and practice of casting, line handling and tips on knots.

3 hours outdoors.

Tour includes: All equipment supplied.

Full Day Introduction to Fly Fishing

In this workshop we cover the following subjects: Clothing and Equipment; How to set up your equipment; Knots, leaders and lines; Casting theory and practice and line handling with casting sessions conducted outdoors (on grass).

6 hours indoors and outdoors.

Tour includes: All equipment and materials plus course notes are supplied, morning & afternoon tea.

BYO Lunch.

2 Day Introduction to Fly Fishing

Classes are conducted in a workshop setting and along the way you will learn many tips that can take years to discover by yourself.(12 hrs)

Day 1: In this workshop we cover the following subjects: Clothing and Equipment; How to set up your equipment; Knots, leaders and lines; Basic casting theory and practice, with casting sessions conducted outdoors (on grass). (9am – 4pm)

Day 2: Fishing locations and locating fish; Fly Selection and basic techniques; Stream-craft and Lake-craft; and Fishing etiquette.

Tour includes: All equipment and materials, plus course notes are supplied, morning & afternoon tea.

BYO lunch.

Helicopter Fly Fishing Day Trips or Overnight

See the magnificent scenery of the Australian bush and spend time fly fishing on streams and lakes.
We visit working sheep and cattle properties and remote wilderness locations. We to stay overnight at historical homesteads,
shearers quarters or remote cabins. A Sydney Scenic flight can also be included in your trip.
