Hooked on Moreton Adventures

Hooked on Moreton Adventures is a family owned and operated tour company based at Bulwer on Moreton Island providing a range of tours from adrenalin rush adventures to chill out and relax tours. A host of one, two or three day tours staying in dormitory style units with all meals or your own private unit are available.

There is an abundance of wildlife and fauna to be found whilst travelling through Moreton Island National Park which covers 98 per cent of the island. The endless golden sandy beaches surrounded by sparkling clear waters hosts dolphins, turtles, dugong, tropical fish, and migrative and local birds. From the historical Cape Moreton Lighthouse, Queensland’s oldest, during the months of June to October, humpback whales can be seen frolicking around as they head north and back.

Swim in the pristine fresh water lake of Blue Lagoon. For the more adventurous, try sandboarding some of the highest sand dunes in the world or snorkel the famous Tangalooma ship wrecks. At the end of the day, sit back on the beach with a cool drink and watch a breathtaking sunset as it sets down behind the Glasshouse Mountains on the north coast.

Touring Options

Two Day Adventure Tour

The Two Day Adventure Tour includes return ferry trip, National Park fees, lunch and dinner on the first day, accommodation in dormitory style units for one night, breakfast and lunch on the second day.

Day One – Tour to Honeyeater Lake, Blue Lagoon, Cape Moreton and Champagne Pools.

Day Two – Sandboarding the desert, snorkel the Tangalooma wrecks, Cowan Cowan and Bulwer.

Day Tour

The Day Tour starts with a cruise across Moreton Bay from Scarborough to Bulwer on Moreton Island. Board a modern four wheel drive vehicle and journey south for some sandboarding in the desert, then head across the island to Blue Lagoon for a swim in the fresh water lake and a tropical salad lunch, followed by a trip up to Cape Moreton Lighthouse to spot turtles, dolphins, manta ray and whales in season, then back for return ferry trip.
