Australian Whale Watching

Whale watching Gold Coast is a spectacular location.

Welcome aboard “Eclipse”, the newest fast Catamaran in South East Queensland, she allows you more time for whale watching.

The underwater hydrophone and large video screens let you listen to the whale song, and view the playful humpback whales.

Passengers have a choice of an air conditioned saloon, sunken lounge on the foredeck or three panoramic viewing decks for their comfort.

Complimentary morning tea with freshly baked muffins and fresh lunch can be catered for if required. With Entertaining and Educational commentary, (based on extensive coastal experience since 1982) passengers cruise the beautiful Broadwater and Seaway direct to the whale migration track.

Captain Jim Kelly will take special measures to attract marine life to the tour group, so please listen carefully to ensure the best day whale watching and experience magical marine memories.

Humpback whales migrate from their feeding grounds in the Antarctic Ocean to the warm breeding grounds of the Great Barrier Reef. Their scientific name is megaptera novaeanglliae, which means “great wing”, referring to their enormous fins.

Please remember, whales are sensitive, inquisitive, air breathing mammals. Please do not make loud noises or pollute their waters with rubbish.
Passengers should be privileged and honoured to be in their presence.
