Manta Lodge and Scuba Centre

North Stradbroke Island, an hour from central Brisbane, is home to some of the best dive sites in South East Queensland. Manta Lodge and Scuba Centre on Point Lookout’s Home Beach, runs daily dives to the following spectacular sites.

Flat Rock: Clear waters and drop offs make this a fabulous dive site. See Leopard Sharks and Shovelnose Guitarfish during the summer months at The Nursery … endangered Grey Nurse Sharks during the winter months in Shark Alley … turtles and Wobbegong as you drift dive in The Turtle Caves.
Boat Rock: The 30 metre drop-off means this site is for experienced divers only. See the Queensland Grouper and massive Bull Rays amongst other marine life.
Manta Bommie: A perfect site for drift diving, see here Giant Manta Rays in summer, Loggerhead Turtles and Leopard Sharks.
Shag Rock: A favourite with photographers, Shag Rock is home to an overabundance of macro marine life and has an amazing swim through.
